Dignity
Every resident is an adult with a story, strengths, choices, and a voice.
Shared independent living · Hagerstown, Maryland
Thoughtful co-living designed for adults 55+, veterans, and those needing a comfortable, drug- and alcohol-free place to live. More than a room, it is a respectful home where residents can build connection, stability, and a meaningful next chapter.

Home, with intention
We believe shared living can offer both affordability and connection. The home is being shaped for adults who can live independently and value a calm, considerate household.
Residents have private space, shared common areas, clear expectations, and opportunities to participate in community life—without giving up their autonomy.

Every resident is an adult with a story, strengths, choices, and a voice.
Clear communication, consistent expectations, and a well-cared-for environment.
Natural opportunities to know your neighbors without forced participation.
Encouragement to pursue personal goals and contribute in meaningful ways.
Living and growing together
Programming will be resident-informed, practical, and always optional. The goal is connection—not a crowded calendar.
A consistent space to share updates, plan the week, celebrate wins, and address small concerns early.
Optional walking groups, simple movement, nutrition conversations, and connections to local resources.
Goal-setting, skills sharing, volunteering, and support navigating benefits, employment, or the next chapter.
Shared meals, game nights, seasonal gatherings, and resident-led activities that make a house feel like home.
A thoughtful match
Clear scope
This is shared independent housing, not assisted living, a nursing facility, or a clinical treatment program. On-site medical care and personal-care services are not provided.
We welcome coordination with case managers and community providers when a resident chooses to involve them.

For case managers & referral partners
You know your clients. We know the home. The best placements begin with a candid conversation and shared commitment to resident success.
A case manager or prospective resident starts a confidential conversation about timing, goals, and housing needs.
We discuss independence, shared-living readiness, expectations, affordability, and coordination needs.
When appropriate, the prospective resident visits, asks questions, and gets a clear picture of daily life.
If everyone agrees it is a good fit, we coordinate next steps with the resident and referral partner.
Take the next step
Choose the path that best describes you. This first conversation helps us understand the need and determine whether Thrive Now Homes may be a good fit.
Let’s begin with a conversation
We welcome inquiries from case managers, community organizations, veterans’ advocates, families, and prospective residents.
